Clients & Participants
Clients are the people you tattoo. Participants are the members assigned to events.
TatTool separates clients (external) from members (internal).
Clients
A client record represents the person receiving the service.
Clients are used across:
- Bookings and consultations
- Consent forms and reminders
- Payments and receipts (depending on your workflow)
Participants (Members)
The participant is the member assigned to do the work (usually the artist).
Participant selection matters for:
- Calendar visibility and workload
- Availability rules
- Reporting (revenue/utilization by member)
Organizer / Created By
Some views and filters also track who created the event.
This is useful for:
- Auditing workflows (reception-created vs artist-created)
- Insight filtering (“Created by”)
Bookings
Create and manage tattoo appointments with clients, payments, media, and history in one place.
See how clients and participants appear on bookings.
Insight Filters
Use time range, location, users, roles, tags, and created-by filters to focus Insight on the right slice of your business.
Use users, roles, tags, locations, and created-by filters in reporting.
