Events & Scheduling
Events are the building blocks of the calendar: bookings, consultations, guest events, time off, closures, and announcements.
TatTool schedules work as events.
Events share a few common ideas:
- They live on the calendar
- They relate to a member (participant/assignee) and a location
- They follow conflict rules (for example time off blocks availability)
Common Event Types
Where To Create Events
Most events can be created from the Calendar page:
- Use the Create button, or a create shortcut if available
- Select the event type
Key Scheduling Principle
Time off and closures are designed to prevent accidental overbooking.
If something “can’t be scheduled”, first check:
- The member’s time off
- The location’s closures
- Conflicting bookings/guest events
Bookings
Create and manage tattoo appointments with clients, payments, media, and history in one place.
Learn the core appointment workflow and booking conflict rules.
Time Off
Block a member’s availability so bookings, consultations, and guest events cannot overlap.
Understand member availability blocks.
Location Closures
Block scheduling when a location is closed so bookings and consultations can’t be created or moved into that time.
Understand location-level availability blocks.
