Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Add an extra layer of security with verification codes from an authenticator app.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account.
When enabled, you’ll need a verification code when logging in.
How To Enable 2FA
- Enter your password to start setup
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (or enter the manual setup secret)
- Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to verify
Supported apps include standard authenticator apps that support time-based one-time passwords (TOTP).
Backup Codes (Important)
During setup, TatTool can generate backup codes.
Store them securely. Backup codes are intended for emergencies (for example, if you lose access to your authenticator device).
Trust This Device
During verification you may see an option to trust this device.
Trusted devices can reduce how often you’re asked for a 2FA code on that device.
